Alicja Events hosted their annual MM&I event at Carnivale Restaurant, on July 30th. This time, taking it to Brazil and bringing down the house with spectacular performances by the Chicago Capoeira Group, Chicago One Samba Group, Cece Santana Band, and a steamy swimsuit fashion show. Designers for the fashion show included Gabrielle Zwick, Michael Kelly, and Londo Mondo. Guests enjoyed complimentary Caprinhia drinks sponsored by Leblon as well as delicious appetizers by Carnivale Restaurant. Additional sponsors included: Roadie, Arsova Salon and Mevato. There were also spectacular vendors representing industries in beauty, jewelry and handmade watches.

The event also helped raise funds with generous raffle items donated by sponsors, vendors and local businesses, like Marquin Salon, Image Skincare, Arsova Salon, Cream Wine, The Beauty Crew, Arbonne Cosmetics, Stellar Wine Comp and Vargeez Jewelry. 100% of the proceeds from the raffle were donated to the Safe Heaven Foundation.

Additionally, mobile app ROADIE offered free shipping services for any items shipping directly to the charity.
