Just as in real life, players must know their specific roles, special strengths and how they fit into the larger picture. As scientists, some will gather ingredients to make sedative potions. Operators provide clues from large maps showing animal locations. Rangers gather equipment needed to catch and transport animals. Regardless of their roles, every player will need to actively listen, weigh different opinions and make decisions quickly.
This format encourages all team members to participate. It’s great for socializing and having fun, but also allows participants to discover the talents of others as they work together in new ways. Safari is easily scalable, so it’s well suited to groups large and small in a variety of outdoor locations.
